Letter From The President

Dear APPrO 2006 Delegates, Sponsors, and Exhibitors:

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to this year’s Canadian Power Conference and Trade Show, APPrO 2006. This year it looks like the Ontario power business will set new records in terms of investment in new generation and new levels of commercial activity in the sector overall.

As the lead event for this industry we face a big challenge – APPrO’s mission is to make sure that our members have every opportunity to compete successfully for business in Ontario’s power market and and in Ontario’s generation procurement processes. Our conference is a key factor in achieving our mission.

APPrO 2006 will set a new benchmark. We have stronger content, better contacts, and more opportunities to develop your business in the power sector. Just look at the conference program to get a sense of the possibilities that are busting out all over.

With Ontario’s supply mix in place and work progressing on the Integrated Power System Plan, it’s now just a matter of clearing the roadblocks, and putting the necessary investments in place.

Be at the centre of the action with those who know and those who come to learn. Join us at APPrO 2006 on the 14th and 15th of November and make your “Critical Connections.”

Sincerely,
David Butters,
The President
